Tim Nelson oversees the Missions and Outreach Programs at WRMC. From supporting a missionary from our own congregation to mission trips domestic and international, to being actively involved in local giving programs, this team is strong in offering Jesus love to others.

They currently oversee these missions and programs:

Food Bank located in our church since 1982.

Food Bank of Meeker, Colorado – offering food, kindness and hope to all who need it!

The Food Bank of Meeker, Colorado exists to serve the vulnerable and financially challenged households in our community with food, kindness and hope.

Realizing a debilitating crisis can happen to anyone, we are prepared to fill the gap so that no one goes hungry and everyone knows they matter.

Our goal is to be a beacon of hope in the midst of some of life’s disruptions.

The Food Bank is not intended to be a permanent resource (a free grocery store) for individuals but rather a stop gap when life throws a curve ball. We are here to help all those who face food insecurity during tough times.

We are a community volunteer led and staffed program.

Our local community and the surrounding area, supports our efforts with financial donations, food drives and year round generosity. We always welcome these efforts, because without them…our mission would not be possible.
